Setting up Limit Controller Function in Hanyoung Nux VX series PID Temperature Controllers

Setting up Limit Controller Function in Hanyoung Nux VX series PID Temperature Controllers

In this Blog we give step by step instructions on how to setup the Hanyoung NUx VX series to act as limit controller. Much like shinko BCS Series (T7671)

An.LS (Alarm No.x Latch Status)
An.LS is the latch function for alarm output. It can be used when
G.SUB>An.LT is set to ON.

When G.SUB>An.LT is set to OFF, the alarm automatically sets (SET) or resets (RST) as shown in the "Alarm Operation Example (1) or (2)" above.

However, when G.SUB>An.LT is set to ON, the alarm will remain latched, and even after the alarm release conditions are met, the user must manually change An.LS to RST in order to clear the alarm.

When no alarm is active, An.LS is in the ‘RST’ (reset) state. When an alarm occurs, it changes to the ‘SET’ state.

However, even if the alarm condition is cleared, the alarm state remains latched, and the alarm output continues as well.
Therefore, to clear the alarm,
An.LS must be manually set to ‘RST’ after the alarm condition has been resolved.

If An.LS is in the ‘SET’ state, and the alarm condition has been cleared, you can reset it using one of the following methods:

  • In the G.ALM menu, change the An.LS parameter to ‘RST’.

  • If the DI4 option is available, turning DI4 ON will set An.LS to ‘RST’.

  • Pressing the Up or Down button on the SV display or MV display will also set An.LS to ‘RST’.
(Note: This does not work in the SV setting screen or MV setting screen.)
