1. What is a Metal Push Button Switch?
A Proximity switches, also known asĀ proximity sensors,Ā are non-contact devices that detect the presence of objects without physcial contact.Ā They work by emitting a field or beam (magnetic, ultrasonic, or electromagnetic) and sensing changes in that field caused by an object's proximity.Ā These changes trigger an internal switching mechanism, which then sends an electrical signal, often to control or automate processes.Ā
