How to turn off default alarm buzzer & set the control parameters on FC150A3 Chiller/HVAC Controllers

Some customers request instructions on how to trun off the buzzer alarm for FC150 Series Chiller HVAC Controller.

The issue causing the buzz to last for 30 minutes, is the default setting for event alarms. This is the default setting in order to be sure the user hear the alarm.

In order to reduce of in this example disable the alarm please follow these steps.

1) Press the set button for 3 seconds

2) Press the reset button 7 times

3) After seeing F7 displayed in the upper right corner, press the up and down key to change the default parameter 30 to 0 (or however many minutes you want the event alarm to remain active for)

4) Other Settings as below

SV 14 Deg C -> OK

F0 2C -> OK

F1 -10 -> Please reduce the lowest temperature you will ever see. For example -10 Deg C / 50 Deg Farenheight. If below this range the output will not activate. It is the output high limit feature

F2 40 -> Please Please set the highest temperature you will ever see. For example 40 Deg C . If the Actual temperature (PV) is above this temperature then the output will not activate. It is the output low limit feature.

F3 0C -> OK

F4 3 -> OK

F5 Cooling -> If cooling is required, please set to Cooling , if Heating is required Set to Heating

F6 C -> Set Units to Deg C

F7 150 -> Set to 0 to disable the alarm. Once all the working well, then turn alarm back on as desired .

4) Press the set button once to save and exit
